Cookie Policy

• Essential: needed for the site to load and function. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's localStorage under “nelanor-consent”, not in a cookie. These can't be switched off.
• Essential, on a private project address only (yourbusiness.nelanor.studio): “nlnr_k”, set when you open the link we sent, which keeps that address open on your device for 90 days. It is never set on this site.
• Analytics and session replay (optional): Microsoft Clarity, a Microsoft tool that shows us how the site is used through page views, clicks, and scrolling. It runs only with your permission (see Your choice by region below).
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4, which tells us which pages get visited, where visitors come from, and which paths lead to an inquiry. It runs only with your permission (see Your choice by region below).
• Advertising measurement (optional): the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which lets us measure how our advertising performs. It runs only with your permission (see Your choice by region below).

If you accept, Clarity sets these cookies:

• _clck: keeps a Clarity user ID on your browser so return visits are recognized.
• _clsk: links the page views of one visit into a single session recording.
• CLID: records the first time Clarity saw this browser.
• ANONCHK: checks whether the MUID identifier is used for advertising; on our site it isn't.
• MR: tells Microsoft whether to refresh the MUID identifier.
• MUID: a Microsoft browser identifier, also used to sync activity across Microsoft domains.
• SM: used while syncing the MUID across Microsoft domains.

And if you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies:

• _ga: keeps a randomly generated ID for your browser so repeat visits are counted as one visitor.
• _ga_HPE21JDCL6: holds the session state for this specific property (how long the visit lasted, whether it is a new session).

And if you accept, the Meta Pixel sets these cookies:

• _fbp: a first-party Meta browser identifier used to measure ads and match site events to Meta.
• _fbc: stores an ad click identifier when you arrive from a Meta ad (only set in that case).

The only advertising / cross-site measurement is the Meta Pixel above. If you decline or opt out, no advertising cookies are set and nothing is sent to Meta.

If you are visiting from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the optional cookies above load only after you accept them in the banner. Nothing optional runs before that.

Everywhere else, including the United States, the optional analytics cookies run by default and a notice tells you so on your first visit. You can opt out from that notice, or at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and they stop from the next page load.

We tell the two regions apart from the country your connection appears to come from. If that cannot be determined, you get the opt-in version.

You're in control. You can accept, decline or opt out when the banner asks, and you can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. A withdrawal takes full effect from the next page load. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
